Want to enhance your resume, network with distinguished professionals, and enjoy free food? This fall, the Knoxville chapter of Finance Executives International (FEI) will select a Haslam College undergraduate as an FEI Intern for the academic year. While any major can apply, finance and accounting majors are strongly encouraged!
Who is in FEI?
Senior-level CFOs and Controllers from companies such as SageView Advisory Group, Jewelry Television, Radio Systems Corp., Kimberly Clark Corp., Alcoa, Bush Brothers & Co., The Trust Company, Rather & Kittrell, Regions Bank, Truist Bank, Clayton Bank & Trust, Ruby Tuesday, Regal Entertainment, Mastercraft Boat Co., and Bank of America, among other local finance, accounting, and investment firms.
How to Apply
Internships are awarded based on academic achievement. Email your resume and a brief introduction (who you are and why you'd make a great intern) to Dr. Laura Lenn at [email protected] by Friday, September 6.
What Do FEI Interns Do?
FEI Interns are required to attend all the monthly events listed below. Interns will assist with greeting members, introducing speakers, and networking with senior-level executives.
When Are Meetings?
Monthly dinner speaker meetings are generally held on Tuesday evenings at Bridgewater Place (205 Bridgewater Road, Knoxville, TN 37923). Interns must arrive by 3:30 PM to help with setup, and meetings conclude at 6 PM. Dinner is included for interns.
Interns must be able to attend Tuesday evening events for both the Fall and Spring semesters.
