WINFIN MISSION

To create a space where females pursuing finance can grow professionally while forming connections and a support system to confidently navigate their careers in finance.

Founded in Spring 2023, the Women in Finance (WinFin) organization provides members with resources and information to enhance their experience as women in finance at UT. As a result, these women:
  • Are proactive about getting involved in the finance field.
  • Are more engaged and excited about their finance coursework.
  • Have a clearer understanding of their career goals.
  • Feel supported and confident in their decision to pursue finance.
Membership is limited to females in finance at all academic levels.

HEADQUARTERS

Women in Finance is housed within the newly renovated Masters Investment Learning Center (MILC), within the Haslam College of Business. It is the all-glass room with large TV screens visible from the atrium on the 2nd floor, near K Brew Coffee and closest to the Pedestrian Walkway entrance. Students may enter the center whenever the privacy glass is transparent—simply push the main door to access. Feel free to stop by during regular business hours with any questions.
